CURRICULUM

All NSW DET schools teach the six Key Learning Areas (KLAs). These are:

• English;
• Mathematics;
• Science and Technology;
• Human Society and its Environment;
• Creative and Practical Arts; and
• Personal Development, Health and Physical Education.

Each class teacher uses these syllabuses as the basis for all teaching, learning and assessment in his/her classroom.

At the beginning of each term, Curriculum Overviews are provided for our parents, outlining the class learning program for the term ahead. These overviews are available from your child's class teacher.
