AWARDS SYSTEM
Merit awards are handed out to children who have earned them through effort and achievement through the week. Merit awards are handed out to chilrdren at every Infants assemblyand primary assemblies.
Once a month, the whole school comes together for a Whole School Assembly. Each Whole School Assembly is run by a different class, with each class hosting one assembly per year. At each Whole School Assembly, children who have achieved Silver Awards or Gold Awards are recognised.
It is important that each child collects his or her merit awards through the year and takes them to the school office as soon as each level is achieved.
4 Merit or Principal's Awards = 1 Silver Award
3 Silver Awards = 1 Gold Award

CHANCE CARDS
All students are eligible to recieve chance cards at school each day. Chance cards can be given for hard work, good behaviour, improvement, effort, helpfulness, kindness- any positive behaviours shown by the students. Gold chance cards and given for students displaying the specific positive behaviour that is the focus for that particular month. Gold chance cards are drawn once a month at the whole school assembly, with the winner recieving a book prize. Each chance card that is obtained needs to have the childs full name and class written on the back, and be placed in the chance card container in the students classroom. At each Primary/Infants assembly, 3 chance cards will be drawn, with the winners given a voucher to spend at the school canteen. The more chance cards gained, the more chances of winning!
